WINGS FOR INDIANA
A Grief Poem
By Diane Anderson

You've gone to the heavens
you left us here
Indiana, how we wish
You were still near
We miss your sweet smile
your wonderful laugh
Our days are so empty
will this ever pass
The hurt and the pain
seems too much to bear
You were an Angel on earth
now God's given you wings
To fly through the heavens
to take care of his needs
We will never know why
he called you so soon
Maybe when we meet in heaven
his plan we will then know
But until that time,
our sweet Angel
You'll always be in our hearts
our thoughts and our minds
