MEMORIAL DVDS
Photo montages and tributes to those who've passed away...
What We Need From You
- Contact us to let us know you're interested in a DVD slideshow.
When you contact us, we'll provide you with a contract to sign. This contract will explain our procedure and clarify our terms of
service. It is a binding agreement between both parties so please make sure you take the time to read it. Once you've read the contract
and signed it, put together your package (steps below) and mail the contract, along with your materials, to the address provided on the
contract.
- Give us information on the deceased.
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Date of Death
- Name of Parents
- Survived By Names and Relationships
- City, State Born
- Occupation
- Favorites: Color, Food, Movie, Hobby, Book, etc.
- Most Used Saying
- Tell us your musical preferences.
To avoid copyright issues, we've opted to use royalty-free music that has been specifically purchased for use with DVD slideshows. By
providing us with your musical preferences (i.e. jazz, classical, rock, etc.) we can select music that fits both the style of your DVD and
your musical tastes.
You can pick music from our growing selection of royalty free music. Just let us know what genre of music you like and
if we don't have it, we'll see what we can do about getting it. Or, if you'd prefer to leave the music off the slideshow altogether.
If we don't have the music you select on hand, there will be an additional charge to purchase the music for your DVD.
- Pick photos and memorabilia that are in good condition.
Try to find photos that are in focus. Stick to horizontal (landscape view) images whenever possible because they don’t leave empty
space on the screen.
Avoid images that are:
- grainy,
- blurry,
- have lighting issues (too dark or too bright),
- have busy backgrounds,
- have water damage, or
- have been cut for scrapbooking (odd shapes).
If you use an image photographed by a professional photographer, a written letter of consent must be provided with the image before we can use the image.
Do not send photos that are larger than a traditional 8x10 photo.
When sending images on CD, make sure they are saved at 300 pixels or higher.
Send double the images the package requests in case some images are unrepairable and look blurred on the screen.
Remove all images from frames, photo albums, and scrapbooks before mailing.
- Share your memories.
* This option only applies to the "Deluxe Package" deal.
Let us know if you want a little description at the bottom of each image, a little story told before each image, or if you’d just
like the images shown.
If you want a story, write a one paragraph story, on a separate note sheet, to go along with each image/item.
If you want to tell us who the people are with the deceased, include the name of each person.
If the place or event holds a special memory for you or the deceased, and you want it mentioned, give us information.
Once you have the information you want written down, place each image/item along with appropriate note sheet in its own envelope.
(Keep the ink side of the note sheet away from your photo. It’s best not to write on the images themselves so that the ink doesn’t
bleed and ruin the pictures.)
Number the envelopes in the order you would like the pictures/images to appear in your montage.
- Deliver your package.
Send your package to us via United States Postal Service certified mail, Fed-Ex, or UPS.
This ensures that your package reaches us without complications or worries.
- Make your payment.
Before we begin work on your memorial slideshow, we need to receive payment.
South Dakota residents must add 6% sales tax to each order.
If paying by cashier's check or money order, include it with the material above.
If paying by credit card, we'll send you a link, via email, to a secure website to make payment.
- Questions?
If you have any questions or need a free consult, drop us an email
or give us a call at 1-888-292-6697.
